Get Moving!

How do you spend your day?
For many people, it goes something like this:  You wake up and then sit at the kitchen table for breakfast (or sip on boiling hot addictive stimulants).  Then you sit in your car on the way to work, after which you sit in your office chair for roughly 8 hours.  You then sit in your car again to drive home, sit at the supper table, and then finish your evening watching TV – sitting on the couch.  Here’s a thought: Stop sitting so much!  Get up, and get moving!  Standing while driving might be tricky… but you can find other times during the day to stand up, move around, and change things up a bit.  Staying in the same position for long periods of time is terrible for your joints – they were designed to move!  Not just your knees, shoulders, ankles, wrists and toes, but your elbows, fingers, hips, back and neck.  Chiropractic is all about restoring motion in your joints, and there is no reason why you can’t be encouraging some of that motion throughout the day.  Check out these websites for some great tips on staying active and limber!
