What is Laser Therapy, and how does it work?

Very simply, Laser Therapy uses light energy to accelerate the healing of tissues within your body. Every cell type will respond to light energy.

What types of problems does Laser Therapy treat?

Laser Therapy is proven to help arthritic knees, chronic shoulder injuries, painful feet, carpal tunnel syndrome, and many other injuries. If you have pain that just won't go away, chances are Laser Therapy will help!

What can I expect from a Laser Therapy treatment?

A treatment takes between 10 – 15 minutes. We will place small clusters which emit light on the area to be treated, and you will have a chance to relax, read, and listen to music.

Are there any negative side effects from Laser Therapy?

No. Although there are rare cases that Laser Therapy does not help a particular problem, you can be confident that no damage is being done during the treatment.

How often do I need to receive Laser Therapy?

For minor problems, six treatments are often enough. For chronic and more serious injuries, typically 12 or more treatments are needed for full results. Treatments are usually done 2-3 times per week.
